We are a family-run company, established in 1993, with only one used injection moulding machined placed in the garage of Bernarda and Anton Maklin. Through the following years, the company slowly but steadily grew and it quickly became evident there is a need for increasing workspace as well as expanding the machine capabilities. And so, by 2008, the company moved into a purposefully built production facility with a dedicated warehouse, and increased its capabilities to, in total, 6 injection moulding machines with automation equipment for material loading.

In 2020 Bernarda and Anton decided to hand over the company to the next generation. This also resulted in accelerated digitalisation efforts, improvement, modernisation and optimisation of business and production processes, in an effort to make the company future-proof and ensure our customers receive value-added service and experience.

Over the first year, the MAKLIN company grew exponentially and increased turnover by over 250%. With that, came the need for a second expansion, as the existing facilities were simply not large enough anymore. And so, in late 2021 the company moved into a three-times large production facility as well as added 2 modern injection moulding machines, together with several assembly and packaging automation features to its capabilities.

Today, the company invests the majority of its profits into modernisation, optimisation and expansion of production and employee capabilities, ensuring supreme quality products are built every single time.

The MAKLIN company is built on the foundations of over 30 years of tradition, experience, and technology. We are proud to be strongly anchored in the local and international knowledge transfers within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), entrepreneurship, product development, lean manufacturing and lean six sigma. This is being achieved in collaboration with educational institutions and organisations through education, internship and appetencies. We are also regularly involved in EU-funded as well as regional projects to ensure we remain at the frontend of the injection moulding development.
